THE HARVEST TABLE

A Communal French Wine Supper at EDWINS

This fall, we’re setting the table a little differently.

The Harvest Table is a five-course French supper built around one simple idea: great food and great wine are better when they’re shared.

This is not a traditional wine tasting. There are no measured pours and no formal progression telling you which wine you should be drinking at any particular moment.

Instead, when you arrive, the communal tables will already be set with open bottles of red and white wine, warm baguettes, generous slabs of butter, and platters of charcuterie.

Pour a glass. Pass the pâté. Meet the people sitting beside you. Graze, mingle, and settle in before the rest of dinner begins.

From there, the evening unfolds as a relaxed five-course French feast, with dishes designed to be shared and passed around the table.

THE WINE

Every place setting will have two wine glasses — one for white and one for red.

Open bottles of both will be sitting on the tables, ready to pour throughout dinner. Taste them with different dishes. Go back to the wine you love. Pour another glass for the person beside you.

The wine is part of the table, not a presentation around it.

ONE TABLE. ONE DINNER.

The Harvest Table is intentionally a communal dining experience.

Guests will be seated at long shared tables and the centerpiece of the evening is exactly that: sitting together, passing food, pouring wine, and enjoying dinner with the people around you.

Parties purchasing tickets together will be seated together, but you should expect to share your table with other guests.

Come with friends. Come as a couple. Come on your own.

Pass the food.
Pour the wine.
Meet someone new.
Stay awhile.
