THE SECOND CHANCE CAMPUS

A Place to Live.
A Place to Learn.
A Place to Move Forward.

Education is only part of a second chance. The EDWINS Second Chance Life Skills Center surrounds students with housing, resources, support and community so they can focus on building what comes next.

MORE THAN TRAINING

Remove the Barriers. Create the Opportunity.

A culinary education can open a door, but students still need a stable place to sleep, transportation, clothing, health support, legal assistance and the confidence to keep moving forward.

The Second Chance Campus was built around that reality. Students and graduates can access housing, life-skills support, study resources, wellness services and a community designed around long-term success.

At EDWINS, support does not stop when class ends.

LIFE SKILLS CENTER

Everything Needed to Keep Moving Forward.

The campus brings practical support together in one place so students can focus on learning, working and building independence.

01

Safe Housing

Student residences provide a stable place to live during training, with additional support available as graduates continue their transition to independence.

02

Library & Computer Lab

More than 2,000 culinary books, computers and dedicated study space give students the resources to continue learning outside the classroom.

03

Wellness & Fitness

Fitness resources and health support help students develop the routines, confidence and stability needed for work and life.

04

Family Support

The EDWINS Family Center helps remove one of the biggest barriers facing working parents by providing childcare support to students and their families.

05

Life & Career Support

Legal services, clothing, literacy assistance, job coaching and other wraparound resources help students tackle the barriers standing between training and success.

06

Community

Gardens, gathering areas, outdoor spaces, a playground and basketball court create a campus that feels more like a neighborhood than an institution.

EDWINS FAMILY CENTER

A Second Chance Has to Work for the Whole Family.

Childcare can make the difference between being able to attend class and having to walk away from an opportunity.

The EDWINS Family Center provides childcare support so parents can focus on training, employment and building a more stable future.

It is another example of the EDWINS approach: identify the barrier, then remove it.
