What’s your ‘three-word story’?

Who We Are, Where We Live: Buckeye/Shaker is inviting everyone to stop by the EDWINS patio Saturday, June 3, from 10 a.m. to noon to write your three-word story on a Lake Erie stone.

You may keep your stone or leave it as part of the project, which presented by Literary Cleveland.

This is open to any and everyone who loves Cleveland, especially the Buckeye-Shaker neighborhood. Stay for 3 minutes or 30, and enjoy shopping for goodies at the Farmers’ Market and Shaker Square establishments while you’re on the Square.

Buckeye poet, Damien Ware, will also be sharing some poems, and he’ll have free broadsides of his poems available to early birds.

If you can’t join us on June 3, you can still participate by sharing your story here.

And mark your calendars for a reading and celebration of these stories on Saturday, July 8, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at our neighbors’, Loganberry Books, 13015 Larchmere Blvd.

Join us Saturday, July 15 for La Grande Soirée, a luxe fundraiser featuring delectable French favorites, divine desserts, exquisite wines, copious cocktails and lively entertainment – all to ensure that EDWINS can continue giving our students life-changing education and services.

La Grande Soirée will take place Saturday, July 15, at EDWINS Restaurant 13101 Shaker Square, Cleveland, Ohio 44120. Complimentary valet provided.
