Pick your people.
Name your team and choose who you’d like to treat. Anyone can organize a team. No workplace, church or club required.
Get everyone registered.
Each person registers for the 5K or 1-mile walk through Hermes. Send them the registration link and ask for their full name and registration email.
Build your roster.
The organizer adds participants here and saves the final roster by October 17. We’ll verify registrations and announce the winner after race results are available.
More people. More possibility.
Every team runs for second chances.
Your participation supports EDWINS’ tuition-free culinary and hospitality education and the support that helps people build a new future after incarceration. The dinner is the thank-you. The impact goes much further.

The details
A few simple ground rules.
How do we win?
The team with the most verified race participants wins one five-course dinner for four with wine pairings at EDWINS for its chosen recipient. Both 5K runners and 1-mile walkers count equally. Speed only matters in a tie.
Who can enter a team?
Anyone can bring a group together: a workplace, congregation, running club, family or group of friends. Your chosen dinner recipient does not need to participate in the race.
What counts toward our total?
Participants must appear on your saved roster by the deadline and have a completed race registration that EDWINS can verify against the Hermes registration export. Each person counts once and toward only one team. Already-registered runners and walkers can be added. A team roster is not race registration.
When is the deadline?
Create your team and save your final roster by Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Team entries and roster changes close at that time. Race day is Sunday, October 18.
What happens if teams tie?
The team with the fastest official 5K finisher among the tied teams wins. If none of the tied teams has an official 5K finisher, the winner is chosen by random drawing.
How do I update my roster?
Use the private organizer link shown after you create your team and requested by email. Add or remove participants, then select “Save my roster.” You can return as often as needed before the deadline. If you lose the link, use “Find my team link” above.
When will we hear who won?
EDWINS will contact the winning organizer after checking the registrations and any official race results needed for a tiebreaker. We’ll arrange the dinner with the winning team.
