Edwins Leadership and Restaurant Institute has signed a deal to build the Buckeye neighborhood’s first meat vendor in more than 45 years.

The 3,200-square-foot butcher shop, located at 13024 Buckeye Road, is scheduled to open winter 2017.

“Edwins Butcher Shop is the next step in an overall plan to combat the problem of re-entry though food — it is also a step in a broader vision,” said Brandon Chrostowski, founder and CEO of Edwins, in a statement.
