There’s nothing we love to talk about more than the accomplishments of our graduates. Angela Sharpley ’16 was featured as part of In the Company of Women, a celebration of female entrepreneurs hosted by The Women’s Business Center.

After graduating from the EDWINS program at the top of her class, Angela began working with professionals to develop a business plan for her restaurant Pipe’N Hot Grill. She completed an internship with ‎Sam Lindsley, Director of Operations, Michael Symon Restaurants, and soon after began working with The Women’s Business Center to start securing funding.

Angela tells it best in her own words:

As part of the event, Angela showed off some of her culinary skills by offering her delectable fried fish, kale salad and a creamy tomato pasta.

The EDWINS family was out in force to support Angela at this wonderful event. Board member Matt Fieldman, Chief Operating Officer/Director of Culinary, Gerry Grim, and Development Director, Valerie Maczak-Grim, were all in attendance to celebrate Angela’s accomplishments. We all look forward to her future opening of Pipe’N Hot Grill, and we’ll share details as we get them!
